How do you communicate innovation? My work is built on a provocative premise: 30,000 years of storytelling redefined for the Age of Disruption. For half my life, I have pioneered a new approach to narrative for innovators, change-agents and visionary leaders. I’m an expert on how disruptive technologies are re-imagining business and every aspect of society. Telling the future story without triggering “fight or flight” resistance.

Strategic advisor to Silicon Valley — Google, Facebook, Genentech. Also work with corporate innovators, venture-backed startups, and global change-makers. Two-time TEDx speaker. Visiting instructor at Top 50 Business Schools. Faculty at Cooper Design. Teaching Fellow at NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center. Instructor at General Assembly. Go-to storytelling trainer for venture capitalists at Kauffman Fellows.

The son of an inventor and toy designer, I’m obsessed with how to translate paradigm shifts into cultural acceptance. I began my career as a social entrepreneur, working on issues of poverty, race, and the Digital Divide. Funded by Rockefeller and Ford Foundations, incubated by New Profit Inc., and was an advisor to Dept of Labor by the age of 23. An epic start-up failure and quarter-life crisis by the age of 24.

Life-long seeker. Committed to growth and transformation. A student of yoga in Kashmir Shaivite tradition. Certified subtle energy practitioner and initiated as one of the first instructors of CoreIndividuation. My work unlocks mythic forces — how to story and re-story yourself into being.
