Master Your Story and Find Your True Voice Using Social Media
If you want to know exactly what to do to get your story heard by the largest audience possible, then this course is for you.
| I am going to give you simple and practical tools, worksheets and inspiration to create a laser like focus on your story and what you have to say, so that you can master all the tools of the social media world. |
You are not alone. If you’ve been struggling to find your voice in the infinite world of possibilities, and you want simple tips and tools that demystify the process of telling your story via social media, then keep reading.

Eighteen months ago, I was a struggling consultant with lots of big ideas. Today, I’m a self-published author, podcaster, journalist, professor, keynote speaker, consultant, blogger, and even the dean of my own *virtual university*, with a community of thousands around the world, and countless new and fertile opportunities.
So how did I do it? By finding the confidence to finally tell my own story, and not make apologies about it.
As a social entrepreneur with a passion for technology I’ve learned how to marry the ideas of classical storytelling and personal branding with a new generation of publishing tools. Not just to put the words out but to draw the map and set out the guide posts for others to follow.
And since a lot of my clients, friends and tribe members have been asking me for resources on how to create their own road map, I have decided to generously share my inside learnings and process, so you too can share your bigger ideas with the world.

The problem with most approaches to social media is they encourage and train you to become a self-promotional jerk. Let’s be honest: that’s the greatest fear and area of resistance for most of us.
So, the first step in becoming a Social Media Jedi starts by getting clear on your passion, motivations, and story assets. When you have a bigger story to tell, and are sharing with people from this higher purpose, you reduce the risk of becoming a digital douche. People will be grateful for what you have to share.
| First 4 weeks – coach you in how to determine the Context for Your Story. | |
| Next 4 weeks – guide you in the process of Finding Your Point of View. | |
| Final 4 weeks – motivate you as you step out Putting It All Together. |
Not only will you learn the right models and strategies for social media storytelling, but I’ll walk you through the most important technical configurations for maximizing Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, social bookmarking, and gathering your tribe online. And with all of these tools and techniques in hand you will be ready to carry on all your great work, but on a much larger stage and scale.

Learning to master your own story and share it with the world, is not recommended as solo journey. Sure, you can go and figure it out for yourself (granted that’s how I did much of it).
But even I turned to friends and colleagues to speed up my learning curve and keep me accountable. I’m also a geek at heart, and love tinkering with new tools and platforms. If I hadn’t been so clear about my bigger story to begin with, and the mission that I am on with Get Storied, I would have felt totally overwhelmed by the noise of social media.
There’s a 1,001 tactics and all sorts of bluster about monetizing this, and dominating that. Truth be told, those get-rich-quick internet marketing hype is just not my bag. I believe there’s a more mindful and purposeful way to do it, and in the process, one discovers the self-empowering dimensions of how social media storytelling can enrich your work and life.
It’s invaluable that you have a simple set of DIY tools to gather your thoughts and to prepare yourself to tell the world your story in a simple and concise way. And to know that you are not doing it alone in isolation. Each step in the process will feature detailed worksheets, guides, tutorials, videos and a feedback forum that we have found to be the key to achieving what you want in having your story heard.
However, all of the resources you will be receive during this 12-week virtual course are only available as part of this program. So register today to have access to these great tools and information.
