Get Storied is building the leading destination hub for the business of storytelling.
We teach entrepreneurs how to tell their story. Our specialty is serving change-makers and innovators that have a big story to tell, yet who struggle with translating their message into wider acceptance. Our methodology teaches storytelling secrets that directly impact an entrepreneur’s brand, sales, tribe, and social media mojo.
Get Storied is an education, media, and advisory company. We began in 2009 with a storytelling manifesto, a book downloaded by 10,000 around the world. It’s since grown into a family of brands including Story University, The New Storytellers (podcast series), The New About Me (bio storytelling curriculum), and the Reinvention Summit (the world’s largest virtual conference on storytelling).
Our Culture
We’re entrepreneurial and DIY. We create info-product curriculum and launch new offerings a few times a year. We produce virtual events. We’re gathering a tribe of thousands from around the world. We publish a weekly e-newsletter and are expanding our editorial voice.
Our message balances truth and love. We like to push the boundaries and talk about what really matters. We attract many high-leverage partners who believe in our vision and recognize the need for more storytelling resources. We try stuff. Some of it works. Some of it fails. We learn, adapt, and perpetually grow.

Our Priority Needs
1. Copywriter
Ideal person is young independent talent with a few years experience, who’s gone off on their own, and is looking to build their portfolio/client base. They need to be solid at creative marketing campaigns — guiding strategy, coordinating talent (design, tech, writing), producing stuff, making creative decisions, and managing projects…background with internet marketing, media/publishing, and storytelling are all a big plus.
2. Creative Marketing Manager/Creative Director
You need to be solid at creative marketing campaigns — leading strategy, coordinating talent (design, tech, writing), producing stuff, making creative decisions, and managing projects…background with internet marketing, media/publishing, and storytelling are all a big plus. Ideal candidate is young independent talent with a few years experience, who is looking to build their portfolio/client base. Freelance position with room for growth.
3. Affiliate/Partnership Manager
We’re looking for a results-driven communicator with knowledge of educational/ information-product marketing and relationship management skills. You’ll manage our product launches, affiliate programs, and high-leverage partnerships with a focus on optimizing existing assets and expanding monthly sales.
You believe in the power of info-products, yet you don’t want to sell and promote another hype-filled offer that fails to deliver on its promise. You believe there’s a more meaningful approach that goes beyond manipulative selling techniques that prey on people’s vulnerabilities. You must be familiar with ecommerce and internet-based business models, product launches, and affiliate programs. You must also be experienced with WordPress, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, 1shoppingcart (or other basic affiliate management software). Freelance position with room for growth.
